I am not so concerned for myself as my family will hold on but I am really, really, really worried for my fellow Aussies. I get quite upset when I think of people losing their jobs. Hey Ho, Here is a couple more of those diamond bead paintings I just finished that are all pretty, sparkly and cute.
I like these and do a couple a week lately. Please take the time to look at them and wash all your cares away! I love the happy dogs. I took a selfie years ago and deleted it straight away! I really do not understand people being obsessed with doing it. I went to Singapore last year and took great delight in side stepping in behind every Asian I saw when they took selfies. It was fun. Now the world is falling apart but we must stay happy. Today I think about what it will be like in 2 or 3 weeks time. I wonder if I will be going into lock down and sitting in my squatters chair on the front deck with a nice cup of tea with Fergus by my side and my M16 Gel Blaster, zombie slaying machete and tomahawk guarding my family and life sustaining supplies. I really do not wish to make light of our situation but hell, I make light of everything, it is part of my self defense arsenal. Makes me happy and keeps insanity at bay. I hope you are all okay in the big bad world. Interesting times ahead.

Hey Ho, Hope ya good. Here is a small print from Broome I just knocked up for a lovely couple. I just like it. I am really busy as usual but feeling flat as I just found out a chap I knew when I was in my teens has passed away. Really lovely gentle guy whom I really liked talking to at parties and around the traps. First time I met him in his parents garage he had a mohawk and was wearing an Exploited shirt.That image will never leave my mind. I was blessed to have so many great guys in my life when I was young. People like him influenced me more than they know. I think I shall shed a tear and listen to The Clash very loudly this arvo and be alone hopefully. Rip Mate!😢🤘✌️

Hey Ho People. Now riddle me this. How come the hundreds of kids in this town go to prom every year and spend a fortune on the big night with beautiful clothes, professional make up, hire professional photographers and pay money to hire muscle cars and all come out looking a million bucks for the biggest night of their lives in such a huge celebration of 13 years of education. But do not come in to see me to frame up those beautiful family photos. After all that those images get left on a usb and thrown in the drawer? Don't get me wrong as I am not needing the work as I am always flat out but it does make me wonder. Same deal with weddings.
Anyway I did this love job up for Emily who has been mates with our son Lochie all through school. Emily picked the photo and I think it is a really nice image of their friendship. Lovely to see the both of you grow into fine young adults.

Hey Ho! Those who "follow or like" my page, pause (I hate those stupid terms, always sounds pathetic and needy. I like to think of you as mates with a high level of intelligence, class and a sense of humour who like a laugh and to look at the interesting things I frame). And while I am on topic, quite frankly at my age I really don't care if people like me or not, my dog Fergus loves me so that is all that matters.) Continue- would know I love doggies as do other humans of good character. Unfortunately with dogs they don't have a big lifespan which has always bummed me out. Why is that, why cannot they live 30 or 40 years? We could grow old together. I do quite a few tributes to dogs for nice people who love their doggie family members after they have crossed the "Rainbow bridge." Always a sad time when we lose a dog. I have been shattered a couple of times through losing my best mates. One of these jobs is a really nice and very detailed pastel and the other is a photo of Willow, a condolence card from the vet and a lock of hair in a little jar. Hope they make you happy ladies after ya tears dry and help keep them in your memories.💐

Hey Ho! So this lovely lady walks in with this painting! I blurt out "Wow, are you married to Gene Simmons?" and she looks at me weird. So I drag up an image of "The Demon" and she bursts out laughing and totally agrees with me. I reckon he is the spitting image! Gee I like it when people who come in here have a sense of humour. You need one in here with me, and it also pays to have one in your whole life. Something people lack nowadays. I make no apologies for being an average Aussie bloke with one!

Here is my favourite song from Genes solo album. I have it on my wall in the shop. Bought it in 1978 when I was 11 and played it full bore non stop listening through dirty old Sanyo head phones. Actually a really good album. A bit of trivia is that one of the other "secret women" in my life, who I think was the hottest woman on the planet, Peggy Bundy, aka Katey Sagel, sang backing vocals on the album. We went to a party once as Al and Peggy Bundy. Jules looked outrageous. She would shoot me if I posted a photo!🤪

Hey Ho, After framing stuff for nearly 30 years I still now how lucky I am to have my chosen path and business I created. I do sometimes get a bit bored with what I do but never whinge. I have started a new working year and have much work on but feel a bit slack. Something that has just made me happy is that my mate Alan has just sent me the new software updates for my Valiani mat cutter, the gizmo that cuts the mats around artworks. It has some cool new features that can help me ta be more creative. Happiness. I want to finish a project for a Lime Spiders single (as shown) I have been designing.

We went ta see Billy Idol at Brisvegas on Friday night and it was superb. A really good show. I forgot how good those songs from Billy were and Steve Stevens just rips on guitar. Really great 80's rock songs. Fantastic time ta be alive. Here is some footage from the sea of phones. Not mine.
