So who wants ta read some more completely useless information in the saga of my life which is Frameworks. Compiling all my life stories for my upcoming book, "True Confessions of a Picture Framer". Here are a couple of my first ever "practice frame ups" that i did nearly 30 years ago. Now this absolutely stunning and gorgeous young lady is my Mummy, Fay Gabrielle Hayes when she was about 17 years old. She is 90 in 2 months. I am the youngest of 3 boys and she brought me into the world on this day 53 years ago. She has told me I was an "accident" at 37 but the best mistake she ever made. Awe gee thanks Faysie! Thanks for the gift of life my Mother!
As it is company policy I am not gunna work today due to my birthday as I am going to enjoy this beautiful day later with my wife and son. And visit Faysie.💐 And then do twice as much work tomorrow.

Hey Ho! I have just started photographing and doing a database of the gazillion posters, prints, limited and open edition prints, music and other assorted memorabilia I have hoarded and collected over the last 30 odd years. First job is to sort out the huge amount of movie day bill and one sheet posters I have. Got stuff everywhere. Just unearthed another pile stashed in my shed. I really do have to start flogging off this stuff otherwise I will never get around to it. And I also lost a heap of other stuff in those stupid floods when they wiped us out. But in saying all that I am interested in buying more movie posters if you have any stashed or have any leads.😉
I will have to get busy with a side hustle and frame heaps up and have a big garage sale. My dream is to have the whole of my studio covered wall to wall with all this cool artwork for sale. I found a Charlie Brown daybill Saturday morn and thought about how much I loved reading those Peanuts comics as a kid. (And this great old song below popped up this morn in my feed) I have always thought Snoopy was the coolest dude! He just did not listen to anyone, care about anything, laid around on his dog house all day and generally just did what ever he wanted whenever he wanted. Terrific attitude I always thought.

Och Aye! Tis I Fergus! I thought I best awaken from my slumber in the warm sun and say howdy! Dallas does too many tributes to my fellow canines that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Here a couple done recently. Buddie the staunch looking Blue dog and Hank is the other solid chap with his adoring mum. Rest in Peace and chase those cats Lads.
Now I was having a chat to Dallas yesterday arvo down the back yard and he told me that today on this fateful night 27 years ago he bumped into Jules at Krystals nightclub. He sat there and told me this story which I will convey. I tell him he is a nutter being so honest with some of his yarns here but he says we all have a history and he is not afraid of his, good or bad. He was a bit lost at 26 years old and struggling a bit in different ways. He went to a party that night and lets just say had some really "Strong Coffee" which made him very awake and aware. He was not drinking. He said he was feeling edgy and had to get out and away so he jogged all the way home from Avoca. On getting home he cranked up Lenny Kravitz Are you gunna go my way. Then thought bugger it I am going out. Caught a taxi to Krystals at 1 in the morn and walked in, stood at the bar and bumped into the love of his life.🖤
27 years of loving madness and they are still rock solid.
He did something that night he should not have done, maybe due to depression, but because he did that it is responsible for the best thing that ever happened to him. Fate! Funny old world hey.✌️
Here is a song from his fav Aussie punk band which sums it up. I am sure he is going to deafen me with music in the shop but he finds that Blackies blistering SG Gibson guitar work in this band very therapeutic. Not every ones cup of tea but he thrives on it. The boy is a bit odd. 🤪He loves it and that is all that matters.🤘

Hey Ho! Here is a couple of nice local artworks. They are "deadly cuss". I wonder where that saying originated from? I can remember everyone that I grew up with in Bundy used ta run around saying it all the time, even before high school I think. Been around a long time. I googled it but no go although I did find this which cleared up something for me.
What is the difference between Koori and Murri?
Names Aboriginal people prefer. ... Others might prefer to use a name that refers to the area within Australia where they live. For example, Koori is used by people living in New South Wales and Victoria (the latter sometimes using 'Koorie'), while Murri is used for Queensland and far northern NSW.

One of my PCs went kabango recently and I have been going through all my old photos which were luckily saved (thanks Phil) and have found some gems. Family history stuff. I rarely get time ta do my own framing but I thought I would print and throw this one into a ready made I had on the shelf for Jules to keep long after I am gone. A photo of her and I taken at a mates shack at Skyringville years ago. Now this photo really means a lot to me as it captures a moment in time and reminds me of many other times spent together doing lots of things socially and working together. We travelled far and wide and went on many adventures, some good, some bad. We were always comfortable and fitted each other beautifully. Many fine memories and it saddened me greatly that we finally had to part company due to the relationship coming apart at the seams and I tearfully had to say my goodbyes. As the years float by I do grow stronger and my heart does heal. I fear there will never be another that I feel the same way about. I really do miss those board shorts. 🤪
